Bateria do Instituto TIM agitates events in June

The beginning of June is being exciting for the participants of Bateria do Instituto TIM, that appeared in two special events in the first week of the month. On Sunday, 6/2, the Bateria performed on the opening of the first edition of the event Italianorio, promoted by the General Consulate of Italy in Rio de Janeiro, in collaboration with the Italian National Tourism Agency (ENIT). With sports, culture and gastronomic activities, the music of the Bateria engaged the celebrations for the National Day of Italy and the National Day of Sports, which took place in Praça Mauá, in the Center of Rio.
The event, that proposes the strengthening of relationships between Brazil and Italy, is free and open to the public and will happen until 6/18. The participants of Bateria, commanded by Mestre Mangueirinha from Unidos de Vila Isabel, presented all their repertory of instrumental songs, showing the Brazilian rhythms like samba, maracatu and baião, played in formation of a samba school.
On 6/3, Monday, the Drums Section took all the beauty of the Brazilian music for the opening of the Sales Convention TIM 2019. There were 1,500 guests for the exclusive event, offered to the sales boards of TIM and its main partners. The convention was held on June 3, 4 and 5, when new products and offers were presented, with which the boards will work in the coming months.
Since 2015, with about 50 participants of all ages, with or without disability, the Bateria proposes that music can be an instrument of social inclusion, counting with a master, monitor musicians and interpreters of Libras. The rehearsals happen on all Saturdays, from 10 AM to 12 PM, in the Artur da Távola Municipal Reference Centre for Rio de Janeiro Music, in the neighborhood of Tijuca.
