On December 2nd, the Bateria do Instituto TIM (Instituto TIM Drumming Band) ended the 2017 activities in style: with a presentation at the opening of the Tiradentes Cultural event. Ex-scholars tell how Agentes changed their lives

From 2013 to 2016, the project Agentes da Transformação, carried out by Instituto TIM in partnership with Instituto Pereira Passos, collected data about young people from all communities with Pacifying Police Units of Rio de Janeiro-RJ. Rio Municipal Department of Health adopts ZUP RIO

Rio Operations Center (COR) started to work in partnership with the Rio de Janeiro Municipal Department of Health to optimize the processes of monitoring and fighting Aedes aegypti mosquito in the municipality. The journalist Nathalia Santos, who has worked at GloboNews and at Rede Globo’s “Esquenta!” TV show, was elected as drum godmother of the Bateria do Instituto TIM (Instituto TIM Drumming Band). ZUP RIO in inspections against Aedes aegypti

The ZUP RIO platform, a ZUP (Participatory Urban Governance) deployment in Rio de Janeiro (RJ), is currently being used in an action to fight the Aedes aegypti mosquito in the municipality. Círculo reaches more teachers in RJ

More teachers of the state of Rio de Janeiro are participating in the training sessions about the approach of O Círculo da Matemática do Brasil this year. So far, the training sessions in Rio de Janeiro, Duque de Caxias, Niterói and São Gonçalo have already involved 270 participants, more than double compared to last year, when 106 teachers were trained.
